CHAPTER 8

[Jiyong’s POV]



I had a great sleep earlier and it’s such a waste that I had to go to school… but on the second thought, it wouldn’t be a waste after all since I’m going to see Dara and it means I’m back with my game…



I don’t know what came up to me last night to do those silly things to her… I almost forgot my plans… she’s a really sly girl… she almost got me using her ‘playing innocent’ and cute personality… maybe she’s thinking that I’m now totally on her…



Hah…! That will never happen..! Over my dead hot body…! I know that behind that pretty face and that kind of trait of hers lies a cunning player who uses her looks to magnet men… See..? She almost got me… yes, almost but now, I realized that it’s only her tactic to win me… She’s really prepared for my game… but as long as I am holding the card… I have her in my hands… she must know who’s the master of this game.



I arrived at school early and as usual the girls are going gaga as I pass through them… That’s right girls… worship me… ‘The great G-dragon’ and to think that that ‘Little miss perfect’ won’t go act like the other girls really irritates me… I feel sorry for her for suppressing those feelings… it won’t hurt her if she would scream y name once just like the others… but why won’t she do that… it’s because that’s the only way she could get my attention… See…? Such a cunning b!tch…



I entered our room to see that almost everyone is now inside and all of them including ‘Little miss perfect’ have their faces buried on their books and busy studying… Pfff… as if their idiotic minds would gain more knowledge if they bury themselves reading those stupid books… I made my way towards my seat and saw her also busy studying…



‘Tssk… no matter how you study… you won’t beat me…’ I thought.



I sat down and looked outside the window as what I always do… little did she know that I am watching her using my peripheral vision… and after a while, I saw her looked up and looking at me… I knew it… she’s just holding herself up to look at me earlier and just waiting for me to get closer at her… look at her, all she needs to do now is to drool over me…



[Dara’s POV]



I didn’t notice him until he sat down and here he is again staring outside the window… Does he know that we have a test today..? Is he that intelligent that even he don’t study, he could get first in every quizzes… What is his secret..?



Maybe he’s reviewing in his house and then he’ll message me so that I’ll be distracted and that’s why he’s taking him long to reply on every of my message because he’s busy studying while I am totally distracted waiting for his reply… So that’s how he do it… maybe he thinks I’m a threat to him… but how come he only got interested in academics now…? He’s really unpredictable… especially when he acted perverted… he scares me…



“Darasshi… can I borrow some of your notes…?” Haejin suddenly snapped me out of my thoughts… he’s one of the top students in our class and also one of my kindest classmates.



“Sure… here it is…” I said as I gave him some of my notes.



“Thank you… are you sure you won’t be needing these anymore..?” he asked



“Yes… you can have it…” I said as I smiled



“Ah… thank you so much… you’re really kind… I’ll return it to you after I’m done with it…” he said as he bowed down to thank me and was about to go to his seat when he suddenly stopped and went back to me… I looked up to him wondering what he needs and saw him picking something from his pocket.



“Darasshi… I have some chocolates here… you can have some… my aunt went back from abroad and brought lots of it… they say that it helps you stay focused when you’re studying…” he said as he gave me three bars of Snickers and then flashed me a smile.



“Wow… thank you Haejinsshi… I didn’t know that…”



[Jiyong’s POV]



Look at this girl… flirting around with this geek early in the morning…



‘Haejinsshi…? Darasshi…? Give me a break…!’



I looked at the side to have a much clearer view of them… then I saw her flashing her sweetest smile after he gave her chocolates… It’s just some freaking chocolates…! And this guy… I know that he’s completely all over her… I can’t believe that he got fooled by her ‘playing innocent’ tactic… after the geek went off wiggling his tail, I looked back just to see her smiling while eating her chocolate… tssk…



“You like chocolate that much huh…?” Then I saw her looked up at me.



“Yup… you want some…?” she said as she offered me some then smiled not knowing that some chocolates are sticking on her teeth… gross…



“No thanks… I want you instead…” I said smirking.



I saw her blushed then covered her face with her book… I pulled the book out of her face using my finger… she held tight on it and it really irritates me so I used my hands to push it down… I smiled to hide my irritation while she’s looking away from me…



“What do you want…?” she said



“I said… I want you…” I said seductively.



“What do you want me to do…?” she said… arggh... can’t she be more annoying…? I could feel my forehead creasing… I told her I want her not I want her to do something… ah… maybe she wants more teasing eh…



“Yes baby… I want you to do me…” I said silently… then the look on her face was like..’what’



“What… do you…? Do you what…? Aissht… why am I talking with you… I still have to study you know…” she said as she looked down to her book… did she just rejected me…? I just gave her one of the greatest opportunity in life and she just rejected it…? Really hard to get eh…?



I turned around and crossed my arms over my chest thinking of what to do next…then after a while the teacher came… and gave us a test… I didn’t know that we have test today but oh well what change it can do to me… after the test an idea popped on my brilliant mind… I turned looked back to Dara again..



“Hey baby… do you want to have a bet…?” I said then I saw her glared at me



“What…? A bet…? Why would I agree to that…? And about what…?” she said



“Well... whoever one of us could top this test can request something to the loser and the loser must comply to it…” I said raising my brow up and down.



“Huh…? Why do you have to play a bet when you could ask me to do anything even if I don’t want to…?” she said



“Well at least in this bet you have a chance to win and of course when you win you could ask me to do anything… you could even ask me to delete those pictures and of course I’ll definitely delete them all in front of you… or you can tell me to stop bugging you and to get out of your life forever and I’ll do that… I’m just giving you a chance to have your freedom back…” I said…. I saw her face lightened, her eyes wide open then she slowly crept a smile… she’s slowly falling in my trap again…



“Really…?” she said… and I nodded… for a while I was her forehead creased hinting that she’s thinking… what’s there to think about…? I know that in the end she’ll agree to it…



“Okay… I agree…” she said… she offered me her hand then I looked at it dumbfounded… she told me that it’s a sign of approval and to seal off the bet… so childish… I took her hand then we shook hands… I realized that her hand is soft and smooth… I didn’t notice that I’ve been holding her hand for quite a while now until she pulled out first… we paused for a second then I cleared my throat to escape the awkwardness…



And back to my plan… I just want her to have her hopes high…. The test was as easy as breathing… and as usual, I’m sure that I’ll top the exam… and I know that she knows that fact but just playing with me… she’s sly after all…



[Dara]



I hope my results will put me to top… I want to get that freedom and get back to my life… I agreed to it because I think I’ll lose nothing even if I lost since in the first place, he’s the one in charge… I just want to try my luck… the results will be released after the break… I feel so nervous that I can’t even eat… I just want to see the results quickly to get this over with…



After the break me and my friends went outside the faculty’s office where the results are posted on the bulletin board… I saw Jiyong standing from afar smirking… maybe he thinks he’ll top the exam… then when I saw the results… it shocked me… I’m not the second place this time but on the third place… I saw Jiyong approached the list and saw his eyes wide open… the students around us were also surprised to see the results but what surprise me more is the one who topped… we don’t even know who he is…



“Kim Jaejoong…?” CL said beside me.



“Who’s Kim Jaejoong…?” Minji said… I also don’t know who he is…



“That b@stard…” I heard Jiyong cursed beside me.



“You know him…?” I asked him… then suddenly I heard the girls whispering and saw some of them are even blushing…. A young man who really looked like a beautiful woman was slowly approaching us, he looked familiar to me though but I can’t remember when and where I saw him before… Jiyong looked at his direction and he looked mad.



“Jiyong-ah… it’s been a long time…” the young man said… then he turned to me and flashed me a smile... I just stood there my mouth half opened because I am busy admiring his beauty… the suddenly he lifted his hand and offered a hand shake… I unconsciously took his hand as we shook hands…



“Hi I’m Kim Jaejoong....”
